Hi - I'm Francine. This is a picture of me in 1999. I spent most of my life looking like this. The day I took this picture I weighed 308 pounds - and I had already lost about 20. I was in obese rehab.

If I had come across this website in 1999 as rehab for obesity, I am not sure what I would have thought, but I know I would have suspected that the person presenting it was either a charlatan or the lucky recipient of a miracle; obesity rehabilitation I surely would not have thought, "Gee, maybe I can do this , too."
